Since 1998, we have achieved more than 1 million hours working on Lockheed airframes (P-3 and C-130).

Key services

Safe Air is a one-stop shop for the P-3 airframe and its components with most maintenance and overhaul work undertaken on site.

Key services for the P-3 Orion airframe include: group servicings (SDLM), strip and paint, major structural repairs, Orion P-3K upgrade, manufacture of replacement parts, maintenance programme updates, modification embodiment and training.

In addition to the airframe itself, we repair and overhaul:

• Rolls Royce T56-A14 engines
• Engine support units (or QECU)
• Hamilton Sundstrand 54H60 propellers, including valve and pump housing
• Instruments
• Electrical components
• Hydraulic and pneumatic components

We provide complete engineering design services in support of this airframe.
