SAFE AIR APPOINTS NEW RNZAF CONTRACT MANAGER

Safe Air aims to ensure that the RNZAF receives the best possible customer service through the appointment of new contract manager, Tony Webster.

Mr Webster joins Safe Air with a long RNZAF history. This covers various roles from aircraft technician through to flight commander.

Retiring from the RNZAF Mr Webster spent 18 months in the ‘outside world’ working as project and operations manager for Noske-Kaeser. He realised that; “I missed aviation, the people and the smell of kerosene.” This prompted a move to take the RNZAF contract manager position at Safe Air.

“I see this as a great opportunity to develop the partnership Safe Air currently has with the RNZAF,” explains Mr Webster.

Safe Air is striving to provide the best service for all its customers. “This appointment is to focus on optimising our service to one of our largest customers,” says Safe Air’s strategic business manager, Heather Deacon.”

Mr Webster’s Ohakea based appointment began on 20 May.
